Sönke Tornieporth initially trained as a shipping agent (Schifffahrtskaufmann). He subsequently gained a degree in business administration from the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy (DAV) with a specialization in foreign trade. He has also acquired a license as a scan coach for potential analysis and diagnostic procedures.

Professional career
Shortly after training as a shipping agent, Sönke Tornieporth was drawn to an international career. For example, he joined Panalpina in Caracas, Venezuela as a project manager for air and sea freight. After graduating from DAV, he joined Montblanc in Hamburg, where he climbed the career ladder in various roles for 20 years, reaching the position of VP of sales for the Latin America/Middle East/Africa regions. During this time, he managed various subsidiaries and a global team with around 200 employees and was responsible for 100 boutiques. His next role was with Saxony-based watch manufacturer A. Lange & Söhne. As international director, he developed and implemented the global sales strategy and was responsible for revenues. He simultaneously managed customer service and the academy for training internal and external salespeople, and developed blended learning concepts. To be able to fully dedicate himself to staff development, Sönke Tornieporth ultimately became a freelance consultant and trainer. He joined the PAWLIK Consultants crew in 2019.

Due to his many years of international experience, Sönke Tornieporth is a proven expert in sales, marketing and management. His clients are predominantly branded goods companies from various sectors.
