Philipp Mehrtens graduated in sports management (Diplom-Sportökonom) before going on to complete an integrative degree at the Akademie der Wirtschaft in Bremen, where he graduated with degrees in office management (Bürokaufmann) and business administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt). He is also a licensed NLP practitioner and master, as well as a scan consultant and certified blended learning trainer.

Professional career
Philipp Mehrtens began his career with a role in sales at the HCI Group, a listed financial services company based in Hamburg. Starting out in product management, he soon rose through the ranks of the sales organization HCI Capital AG, assuming the positions of sales director, key account manager, team and sales manager and managing director. His various roles saw him not only support and expand the company’s national sales network, but also oversee restructuring measures. He joined PAWLIK Consultants in 2013.

At PAWLIK, Philipp Mehrtens works as a trainer, coach and consultant for personnel development, with a focus on setting up, monitoring and training sales organizations, and on training executives. Mehrtens’ many years as an executive involved considerable emphasis on the training and professional development of his employees, which is why, in his role at PAWLIK, he has specialized in the training of sales personnel and support of both fledgling and experienced executives.
