Primarily responsible for implementing international projects for companies in Germany and abroad, his main areas of expertise are human resources development and the development and optimization of sales strategies. Hamburg-born Pawlik is also a member of various supervisory boards and advisory committees, and much in demand on the lecture circuit as a speaker on sales- and management-related topics. After having completed his apprenticeship as a shipping agent, he pursued a career as a professional soccer player in the second Bundesliga with F.C. St. Pauli. At the same club, he oversees the sections sponsoring and marketing as a vice president today. While still a student, he founded a financial services company at which he gained broad experience as Director of Sales. Selling the company five years later, Pawlik set out on a trip around the world, during which he met his American wife. Upon his return in 1996, he founded the company today known as PAWLIK Consultants GmbH. Joachim Pawlik lives in Hamburg with his wife and their two sons.
