Wolfgang Gertkemper studied Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology at the University of Hamburg, graduating with the academic title “Diplom Pädagoge”. He then completed further in-house training programs within the fields of group dynamics, systemic organizational consulting and change management.

Professional career
Wolfgang Gertkemper began his career working in organizational development for the Protestant Church, later joining the LVA Hamburg (Hamburg regional insurance office) to assume a position in personnel development. After two years, he joined the consulting firm PRISMA, where he worked as a trainer and consultant specializing in the set-up and operation of call centers and customer interaction centers. He quickly moved up the ranks here to assume positions as senior trainer, project manager and key account manager, where his main responsibilities were to train executives and develop training programs. He left in 2002 to become a self-employed trainer and consultant. This role would see him train numerous executives on strategic direction and organizational development, and create and implement a range of workshops, group events and traininng concepts. He became a member of the Pawlik Consultants team in 2017.

With his extensive experience as a consultant, trainer and coach, both in national and international contexts, Wolfgang Gertkemper boasts a pronounced ability to examine companies from an objective perspective. The main focus of his work is on organizational development projects, where he uses his expertise within personality and organizational diagnostics and his ability to inspire and enthuse people to best effect.
