Dürr

Qualifications
Prof. Alexander Dürr trained as a banker before studying business management at Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences. He also studied part-time to obtain an MBA and a diploma in general management at the Institute of Management in St. Gallen (SGMI). In 2006, after years of successful teaching, Alexander Dürr was appointed an honorary professor by the SRH University in Calw.

Professional career
After training at the Landesgirokasse in Stuttgart and graduating with a degree in business management, Alexander Dürr started out by managing a bank branch in Stuttgart. He then switched to the Deutsche Bank AG’s corporate client division, afterwards taking on management responsibilities at the Volksbank in Pforzheim. After obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree, he was employed by the Baden-Württemberg Landesbank, initially as a key account manager and ultimately as a director in its corporate business division. After making the decision to leave the financial services sector, Prof. Dürr expanded his teaching activities at universities of applied science in Germany and Austria, and gained his initial experience in coaching and consulting with a number of renowned German corporations. He has been an asset to the Pawlik Consultants team since 2018.

Expertise
With more than 30 years of experience as a manager and sales employee in the financial services sector, he has a wealth of practical knowledge at his disposal. As a lecturer at several universities of applied science, he is also dedicated to the education of aspiring managers. His profile is rounded off by activity as a voluntary board member of a charitable organization for the disabled and as a member of the supervisory board of a financial services provider.
