Olaf Bethke completed an integrated degree program at Siemens AG, through which he gained a formal vocational qualification as an industrial clerk as well as a degree in Business Administration. He later also completed a part-time degree in Psychology and numerous leadership programs at Siemens AG.

Professional career
Olaf Bethke began his professional career in 1997 at the Hamburg-based branch of Siemens, where he worked in customer service management and sales. In 2003, he moved to Siemens’ headquarters in Munich to take up a position in strategic marketing. In this role, he supported industrial analysts and oversaw the restructuring of a Siemens unit as well as various carve-out and change management projects. In 2006, he assumed responsibility for the marketing and portfolio management activities of a German sales unit, later advancing to become Head of Sales for the Augsburg, Ulm and Freiburg offices. Bethke left Siemens in 2009 to join the management team at BVG Communication Technologies GmbH. Here he was responsible for the company’s sales, marketing, portfolio management and purchasing activities. In 2011, Olaf Bethke founded the content marketing agency Communeer GmbH as Partner and Managing Director. He joined the PAWLIK Consultants team as a consultant in 2016.
