Qualifications Julia Müller studied (North) American Studies at Leipzig University (B.A.) and at Philipps-Universität Marburg (M.A.). Her degrees led her to develop not only an excellent command of English, but also – thanks to her focus on Popular Culture – a pronounced level of intercultural competence. Popular Culture is also the main topic of her PhD thesis, which she is currently working on.
Professional career While still a student, Julia Müller began working as a Customer Consultant, a role focused on reconciling the interests of the company with those of the customers. After completing her studies, she joined a consulting company specializing in national and international start-ups. Her position here entailed providing consulting services and supporting HR activities. More specifically, it involved conducting workshops and seminars, recruiting employees of all levels, from career starters through to executives, liaising with hiring managers and other executives on questions of an HR nature, and implementing new systems for applicant and employee management. She joined Pawlik Consultants in 2017.
Expertise Julia Müller is an HR all-rounder. Among her specialist areas are end-to-end recruiting (interns through to C-level staff), HR administration (e.g. payroll, employee management) and retention management.
